j2blast Maths Summer Challenge
J2e are launching a special maths challenge to maintain learners’ mental maths skills during the summer holidays.
The free Summer Maths Challenge from j2e is open to every school. Every learner who plays at least 10 games on j2blast Go Live! will be entered into a prize draw for one of several £20 Argos vouchers. Every school will be entered for a prize of £200 to be spent on any resources they want.
Pupils need to login to Hwb and j2e to take part.
Trip -Yr D&1- 19/07/18
On Thursday, 19th of July we will be going on our end of year trip to Bala. We kindly ask for a contribution of £6 per child to pay for the trip. You can pay via ParentPay or by cheque payable to Powys County Council. Your child will need a packed lunch and the bus will be leaving at 9.30am. We will arrive back at school by 3.30pm. If you wish, there will be an opportunity for the children to spend up to £3 in the train shop.

Mae trip canŵio wedi ei drefnu ar gyfer disgyblion Bl.6 ar Lyn Efyrnwy, nos Iau, Gorffennaf 19eg. Byddwn yn gadael yr ysgol am 4.30yh ac yn dychwelyd erbyn 6.30yh. Mae cost yr ymweliad o £5 y disgybl yn cael ei dalu allan o gronfa Menter a Busnes yr ysgol mewn gwerthfawrogiad o’u cyfraniad i fywyd yr ysgol.Yr.6 Canoeing & Kayaking – 19.07.18
A canoeing trip for Year 6 has been arranged at Lake Vyrnwy, on Thursday, July 19th. We will be leaving school at 4.30pm and returning by 6.30pm. The cost of £5 per pupil will be paid for from the school’s Business and Enterprise account in appreciation of their contribution to the school.
Year 6 visit to the Foundry
Year 6 pupils have been invited to visit Castle Fine Arts Foundry, Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant on Wednesday, July 18th. They will have a tour of the site and have an opportunity to see the artists at work. Our thanks go to Steve Page for arranging this visit again this year. The pupils will need to wear suitable footwear please. We will be back at school in time for lunch.
Ffrindiau Rounders & Barbecue Evening
Tuesday, July 17th at 6pm There will be a barbeque selling burgers for £1 and complimentary squash, tea and coffee available.
